Notes
This image is not a recognizable archeological site. On the slide it is referred to as an area, south of the modern town, Astakós, in the region, Aetolia and Acarnania. This region is in northwest Greece. The region is mostly neglected by Homer, being referred to as the greater mainland. The stone building appears to be a church.
