Notes
This image was taken on the Greek independence day in 1980 in the town of Iráklion which is the largest city in Crete. In celebration of Greek Independence Day, towns and villages throughout Greece hold a school flag parade, during which schoolchildren march in traditional Greek costume and carry Greek flags. That is what is pictured in this slide.
